About The Montana Ambassadors
The Montana Ambassadors, serving at the pleasure of the Governor, is a volunteer, not-for-profit, bi-partisan organization of leaders in business, education, and the professions with a common dedication to fostering economic development in the state of Montana. Whether you operate a business in Montana, conduct business with Montana-based companies, or simply have a strong affinity for the state of Montana, the Montana Ambassadors is dedicated to creating stronger connections that support the economic vitality of the state of Montana.
The Montana Ambassadors act as official Ambassadors of the State of Montana with the following mission:
- Develop an active network that promotes economic development opportunities for Montana companies
- Represent the Administration of the Governor and the Department of Commerce with business related contacts in and out of the state of Montana.
- Assist and advise the Governor and the various departments of the Cabinet on matters of business, trade, and tourism development.
- Develop relationships with educational institutions, agencies and systems that foster the economic vitality of Montana’s work force and enhance the quality of life for its citizens.
- Support, whenever practical, efforts by other groups to contribute to the economic vitality of Montana
