Value Acceleration Program

We don't just sell our clients' companies, we assist them in optimizing the value of their companies prior to the sale. 

Our Managing Directors and Strategic Advisors have all successfully built and sold companies. We have also served as private equity investors and operators of PE-backed companies, taking active roles on boards throughout our careers.

We deploy our advice and network to help our clients over a 6–18-month period identify how buyers will view their companies today and help them deepen and widen their moats in anticipation of a sale.

In 2022, we launched the Value Acceleration Program. It is our conviction that a durable company sells for a premium.

The building blocks of this program focus on business levers that can be pulled to drive better outcomes. Examples of this work include:

 

  • Recruiting a key senior leadership team member for a fast growing SaaS company in anticipation of a sale
  • Recruiting a highly respected industry veteran to the board of directors of an AI start-up
  • Advising a home services business to insource several key activities to build out a full-stack offering which was preferred by acquirers
  • Identifying the key operational metrics that drive a high value exit in a business services firm exploring a sale
