SEATTLE, WA — Alexander Hutton is grateful to share the generous thank-you contributed by Diversified Plastics, Inc.

Diversified Plastics, Inc. ("Diversified Plastics", "DPI", or "the Company") is a single-source manufacturer of plastic components, providing solutions to manufacturers and users across a broad range of end markets, including leading national and global distributors. Through recent acquisition by The Rubber Group ("TRG"), a portfolio company of River Associates Investments which produces and distributes custom compression and injection-molded rubber products, TRG has helped to enhance creation capabilities and broaden material expertise across a wide range of applications and end markets with accession of DPI.

Diversified Plastics, Inc., headquartered in Missoula, MT, was founded in 1976. From Alexander Hutton's ("AHI") guiding hand in the acquisition process, DPI generously stated, "This wasn't just a business transaction for me. This was my dad's company, then my company, and a place where my wife, my brother-in-law, my son, my nephew, and so many other people I love and care about have built their careers" said Brad Reid, the owner of the Company. Under Brad's leadership, DPI has since expanded to a team of about 80 employees who offer comprehensive services: polyurethane casting, thermoforming, machining, and injection molding to design, engineering, and tool and die services. Locating a suitable steward for DPI's future "was one of the most important decisions of my life" said Brad, further emphasizing that he "needed more than an M&A firm—[he] needed people [he] could trust completely."

In his thank-you post to LinkedIn, Brad highlighted James and the Alexander Hutton team for our trustworthiness and provisions of expertise to direct the future mission he aspired to achieve. As a big step for the Company, Brad and the DPI team appreciated how "James and his team were always there to listen, offer perspective, and help me stay focused on what mattered most... I give James Thompson and the entire Alexander Hutton team my highest recommendation."

Brad concluded his thoughtful post to illuminate the professional relationship that "has grown into a true friendship" between the DPI and AHI teams through this business transaction. Likewise, Brad, we are incredibly grateful for your support and positive reflection as you guided your family through a significant life decision such as this one.
