We celebrate advancement within the Alexander Hutton team
Alexander Hutton is pleased to announce the promotion of Shane Jansen to Vice President.
Having started at Alexander Hutton as an intern 2016, Shane Jansen has today been promoted to Vice President. Shane leads the transaction execution team that drives origination, transaction marketing, financial modeling and is a key player throughout the transaction life-cycle.
As a Bellingham native and a graduate of the University of Washington, he has deep ties to the Pacific Northwest and comes from a family of small business owners. In this new role, Shane will continue to work closely with clients and lead the Associate/Analyst teams.

About Shane Jansen
Shane is a Vice President at Alexander Hutton where he supports all aspects of transaction execution and business development. Shane is an alum of Senator Slade Gordon’s Global Leaders Program and a Former Fellow at the Discovery Institute Chapman Center. Shane is currently a member of both the Y20 Group at ACG Seattle and the Washington Policy Center’s Young Professional Organization.
Shane resides in West Seattle with his wife Haley. They are both highly active in the community. Shane is the Junior Varsity Basketball Coach at Chief Sealth International High School. In addition to coaching, Shane is a volunteer leader with Young Life at the school.
Shane graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Economics and Political Science.
