Henry grew up in Bellevue, Washington. He has a BA in Economics from the University of Washington, completed his graduate research in quantitative economics at the University of Cologne, Germany prior to the rollout of the European currency and attended the Owner President Executive MBA Program at Harvard Business School soon after he exited the software company he co-founded.
Henry believes in the power of mentorship and social ventures. He actively mentors and advises great entrepreneurs with shared vision to create positive impacts for the communities worldwide. He is often a guest speaker on personal development and entrepreneurship, and he volunteers as a mentor and an advisor to business and entrepreneurship students at the University of Washington and at the Arizona State University’s Barrett The Honor’s College.
Henry is a member of prominent angel investment groups such as the Alliance of Angels, Keiretsu Forum and most recently, AngelList as an accredited investor. He also serves on non-profit boards for organizations such as NPower, the Third-Door Coalition, and GenNext (Alder.Org).
He is a polyglot with fluency in Chinese and German. He lives in Mercer Island, Washington with his life partner, Michelle, and their kids, and is an avid golfer, tennis player and a world traveler
